UNICHART NAVIGATION LIMITED

In shipping, SEACOM has introduced a new chapter by handling numerous tanker vessels carrying crude edible oil and petroleum products imported to Bangladesh. These ocean tanker vessels discharge crude edible petroleum oil into the Bonded Tank at Chittagong Port Area. Subsequently, these are transported to different refineries located at many inland sites of the country. SEACOM is doing lightering and transportation has confirmed its own place by introducing 3 (three) Inland Oil Tankers with an honest motive of providing total service to our clients.

MANUFACTURING : 

Of late, SEACOM has stepped in industrial sector and has started the following projects along with a couple of fast moving business associates as a part of its ongoing expansion endeavor.

PREMIER CEMENT MILLS LIMITED

Cement is the most vital ingredient for development of a country. Bangladesh with considerable gas deposit is still in the preliminary stage and it’s development needs huge quantity of cement. Considering the fact, a clinker grinding factory with daily production capacity of 4400 metric tons has been set up at West Mukterpur, Munshigonj near Dhaka. The plant has world famous F.L. Smidth  production system and Haver & Broecker packing machines.  This is one of the largest cement grinding mills of the country.

REGAL POLY PACKAGING LIMITED

Bangladesh has fast developed its readymade garments sector and at present earns highest amount of foreign exchange by exporting readymade garments to different affluent markets of the world. With the development of the readymade garments industries, necessity of developing backward linkage industries was felt very much. To meet this, SEACOM has setup one plant in the above mentioned name. Regal is a 100% export oriented garment accessories producing unit. Products are Poly bag, LDPE bag, Gum Tape, Draw String, Elastic, Hang Tag, Price Ticket, Back Board, Neck Board and PVC boxes.   

TECHNOPLAST INDUSTRIES LIMITED

The factory is local sale oriented. Products are plastic industrial spares which are being sold to different toiletries producing industries. Besides, household plastics products like bottle, jars and tea pot are also being produced.

PRIME SHRIMP HATCHERY LIMITED             

This project was started in the year 1997. The project is currently producing around 200 million larvae and is one of the largest in supplying to the shrimp producing units of the country who are earning valuable foreign exchange by exporting frozen foods. The plant has received best quality award from the government. 

BENGAL SACK CORPORATION LIMITED

The cement and clinker industry was developing fast in Bangladesh to meet the development need of the country. Observing that the bags were imported in the country, necessity of a cement bag manufacturing unit was felt for unhindered supply of required bags to the factories. The plant was setup in 1998 with daily production capacity of around 200,000 (two hundred thousand) P.P and 1,20,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand) extensible Kraft Paper Bags.

RUPSHA TANK TERMINALS AND REFINERY LIMITED

An area of 7.97 acres of land has been taken on lease from Mongla Port Authority, Khulna to set up one integrated Edible Oil Tank Terminal and Refinery. Capacity of Tank Terminal will be 1,20,000 (one hundred twenty thousand) M/tons and daily refining capacity will be 500 M/tons. Construction work is going on in the project. This will be the biggest amongst the similar projects in the country.
